The NME have published a few cool snaps of The Who from circa 1966. All of the shots were taken just after the release of their debut album, 'My Generation'. I've copied a few below for you to look at, enjoy and love.
Right, so here's the deal. Below there are links to stuff I like and bands I'm into. Over to the left I write in a bit more detail about bands I'm into and stuff I like. Then you can tell me if you're also into the same stuff and bands that I am by emailing me at >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> info@CarterSaidWhat.com. There are also some videos that I’ve made about bands I’m into and stuff I like. I mean seriously, apart from bands and stuff, what else is there?
All this chat I put onto paper about stuff and bands is just my opinion. So don’t take offence if you don’t agree. Ya dig? Good.
Latest interview >>> Kasabian
I spoke with Kasabian about them being the biggest band in the UK, Tom rapping and Serg writing songs years before they're due. Check the Music Interview section to read more.
band of the week >>> Nic Armstrong
Admittedly Armstrong is not actually a band, more of an artist; however, I've just dug out his debut album The Greatest White Liar again. And I've got to say, it's genius from start to finish.

Check this weeks edition of Filling the Airwaves for more information on what I really think of Jimi Hendrix' classic album Are You Experienced.
Classic album of the week >>> Led Zeppelin
Led Zeppelin's fourth album actually has no title that can be pronounced or reproduced with alphanumeric characters, consisting instead of a series of hand drawn symbols. The group could go hard, as with "Rock and Roll" or soft, as with "Stairway To Heaven," the song believed to have received the most radio airplay of all time. Because it represents the band's broad range of musical styles, this album (also sometimes known as Zoso or The Rune Album) is an essential.
